Typical Projects
IITA specializes in moving your business to the cloud. Some typical scenarios and projects:
- A client needs to upgrade their Exchange and file sharing server hardware as it has outlived its warranty, but the client is unhappy with the high up-front costs of the project; we migrate them from on-premise Exchange and file sharing to hosted Exchange and SharePoint, using Office 365
- A new small business has been getting by using employees' personal email accounts and email round-robins to share files, but they want a more professional appearance and easier collaboration and don't need the extended features of Microsoft Office; we migrate them to Google Apps for email and document collaboration with their new business domain
- A client needs to install a new server-based line-of-business application, but doesn't want the added expense of additional new hardware as their current server is fairly new; we notice their server is under-utilized, so we install and implement virtual servers using VMware on their existing server hardware to maximize utilization and avoid additional harward expense
- A client has seasonal workers for whom they need PC environments, but don't want to purchase a group of PCs to be used only one quarter a year; we install and implement virtual PCs with anywhere access, using VMware, Citrix, or Microsoft Hyper-V for the temporary workers, giving them access to the applications they need via terminals, tablets, or personal PCs/laptops
- A client is growing their primarily mobile sales force, but the new employees will need anytime access to an application that is installed on the head office's servers; we find a cloud-based replacement that meets or exceeds the current needs and migrate the existing data to the new system
Projects are quoted as flat-rate fees so you know the final bill of the project as outlined before we begin. Out-of-scope tasks are billed hourly, but we will always request written approval and provide estimated additional fees.
